Ah, yes! The paper flowers I made in April (2019) and then I was trying to get my self-portrait finished for the 150th post! So that brings us/me to May...
Back in May, I did a few little "paintings" - one of a section of the River Tweed, one of a view of Ullswater, and one of Balnakeil Bay.
I did the sketch part of this River Tweed painting in a sketchbook, while I was actually there and then added the colour later using a photograph as reference.
The Ullswater painting was done on watercolour paper and stuck on a birthday card.
This view of Balnakeil Bay was done on a 13x18cm canvas board and given as a birthday present.
I'm quite pleased with these but I think the one of Ullswater is my favourite because I managed to get some more detail into the foreground than I did with the other two.
