Garden Variety

I was looking at some of the photos I have on a memory stick and found some from September of some of the fruit and veg we grow at home.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I then edited some of them to make them black and white/greyscale...

 

 

 

 

...and some of them to make the colour more vivid by increasing the saturation and adjusting contrast and brightness etc...

 

 

 

 

I really like the different effects achieved through using Microsoft Office to edit the photos. I particularly like the strength in images created by contrast between the dark background and either the colour or light of the plant in the foreground.
