As part of our Observational Drawing unit we had to draw a variety of objects. The first week, our tutor put one object on the table and then gradually added different objects for us to draw. As this changed the viewable objects, we had to change what we had already drawn, which if I'm totally honest, I found VERY frustrating (and I wasn't the only one in the class who felt this way). I understand this was to teach us perspective drawing but it was still frustrating to keep having to change my drawing (especially when we had to use a dark pencil!). However by the time I had reached my final drawing I was pleased with the overall finished article.

This was quite a learning curve in how NOT to get TOTALLY frustrated with observational drawing.
